• The grade 1 learners celebrated their Mother's Day with a blossoming color card. They used white cardboard to make a card and designed it with shimmering ribbons and cut relief flowers on top of the card. Learners used markers to decorate and then included a short poem for their moms....

Painting in the Style of Artist Miro (click to view photos)

• As a tribute to the artist Miro and his flowing style of lines, Grade 1 learners prepared a similar style painting using their own creativity. As a start, they used paint to sponge the background. Next,they drew some similar drawings of Miro. And finally they used pieces of yarn to decorate the hair and give some texture.
