• Grade 3 learners, made colorful clowns using different techniques of paint and mixed media to make a creative project, full of expression. My learners used sponge and straw with paint to make their pop up project.(Sponge to fill the frame, and the straw with paint to make the electric crazy hair) To make it fun, learners added colored pompom to the nose.

Coloful Mittens (click to view photos)

• Grade 3 learners enjoyed their art session creating winter mittens. They used the rubbing technique where a simple shape of a mitten was cut out and placed under another paper. Then they use the crayons on its side to rub the paper and see the mitten shape appear. They also cut different shapes to make their rubbings more attractive and full. To make it fun and warm,they added colorful yarn on the ends of the mittens. Learners were happy to display their mittens like a scarf.

Shelled Turtle (click to view photos)

• The Grade 3 learners made turtles in a 3D shape using clay. They began by forming the main shape of the body with a square piece of clay. They molded it till it looked like a turtle's body. Afterwards, they decorated the body by using engraving tools. To continue the project they added the head and the 4 legs by joining the clay pieces together. Learners had fun while making this creative project.

Winter project( Rubbing/ Collage) (click to view photos)

• Learners make a project about winter using rubbing technique and collage. They start by trace the shape of gloves i will gave the stencil,the first week learners make rubbing by cutting shapes and rubb with wax. The next week learners add collage to the project using yarn.
