Learners produced a bowl made of papier-mâché, which is a substance made of paper pieces mixed with glue. They started covering a plastic bowl, used as a mold, with paper strips and glue, 3 to 5 layers of newspaper have been used. Than once dried they removed the shape used as a structure and started designing with paint the inside and outside of the bowls by repeating or contrasting the shapes and colors
Pattern and repetition have been used by grade 5 learners in their Christmas composition. The result was very creative and artistic.
By using aluminum foil etching technique, learners created fabulous art works for their Independence Day project. Stamps representing our rich Phoenician heritage have been made and the outcome was outstanding.
Learners had the opportunity to express themselves in a fun way by making clay figures. They created a 3 dimensional human in motion.
Inspired by paintings of human beings done by famous artists like Gustave Courbet and Edgar Degas, grade 5 learners drew and painted beautiful figures in motion.
