Grade 6 learners made beautiful pots by using the coil technique, They constructed the coiled pots, which is a method of rolling the clay into cylindrical strips, by gradually stacking and joining coils of clay one on top of the other. Some learners left the coils visible and others smoothed it away. Decorative elements and handles have been used to embellish the pots.
For their Christmas project grade 6 learners made beautiful and creative patterns by using the collage technique which is an artistic technique in which pieces of paper, cardboards, fabrics and other objects are glued onto a flat surface. After cutting different shapes of Christmas trees, learners glued them onto a cardboard and made a remarkable landscape with trees. The outcome was very colorful and artistic.
Beautiful Lebanese postcards have been made for the Independence Day. Learners used the simple perspective to draw their Lebanese houses and cedars. Items that are closer to us are drawn lower on the page and also drawn larger.The items which are further away are drawn higher on the page and smaller.
Grade 6 learners used patterns and repetition to create a three-dimensional relief sculpture. Cardboard, news print, glue and paint have been used to shape the composition.
