On a beautiful February morning the Nursery learners arrived to school to find a big surprise awaiting them. There was a baker ready to teach them all about making dough! He explained what his job is all about and how he does it. While doing so the baker mixed water, yeast, and salt to make the dough. Some learners took part in rolling and patting the dough, while others helped adding the thyme and oil to make a yummy “mankoushe”. It was one of the tastiest snacks because the learners helped preparing it. It was an enjoyable experience that taught them the importance of a community helper’s job.
