A Festive Farewell Beat

Posted on: 24-06-2010

Why was the king unhappy? The stupendous singing gifts from Nursery B and the Nursery C medical team of “tiny” experts- in dancing- did not make him feel better. Gladly, “Gladheart”, our preschool fairy spotted the solution. What the sad king needed was to “Laisser la musique” of Nursery A guide his steps along the joyous beat of life at our schools. KG1 did not meet “Gladheart”; so what was the reason for their excitement? Well, Granny was about to make three of their dearest wishes come true. They just had to close their eyes…KG1A shot off to outer space in a rocket, as glittery as the singing galaxy of stars around it. KG1B dived underwater in their yellow submarine. They played guessing games with the octopus, the starfish, and the snappy crab. Before they went back to the sea shore to thank the old lady, the young friends of the sea had a last dance with “Vicky le Dauphin.” And KG1C, in their colorful train, they beat the drums of celebration all over the world: the bongos in Africa, the Samba tambourines in Brazil, and the daff in Lebanon. The preschoolers fared their school farewell to the touching tunes of true friendship, promising that “There, they will be…whatever it takes…long as rivers race”.
