Grade 2 learners had a useful visit to the Dental Care Center at Saint Joseph University to learn about good oral habits. The medical students informed learners how to care for their teeth and how to help them remain cavity-free. They also notified them that eating healthy foods, limiting sweet drinks, sticky candies, and snacks can reduce cavities in their teeth. The professional team demonstrated good tooth brushing techniques as well. Now, young learners know that they should brush their teeth twice per day for 3 minutes each time using a pea-sized amount of toothpaste. The visit ended by having the learners’ gums and teeth checked up for any issues and early signs of tooth decay. Ms. Zeina Kobeissy Grade 2 English teacher
