God has granted special gifts to every person. Some chose to close their hearts with indifference and bury those gifts below superficial worries. Some others, through good efforts, rigor and self-discipline, manage to creatively develop their gifts; the Grace then opens their hearts and inspires them; they are transformed, and in turn, they inspire others and transform them. Those become artists of the hearts, “Heartists”, who live and act in a “Heartistic” manner.
METANOIA is an ancient Greek term indicating a major change of course, a deep transformation of life towards a new direction, an enlightenment of the heart.
This year’s theme “Heartistic METANOIA” is a true call for every one of us to stop, breathe deep, look inside and discover the seeds that God planted in our hearts; then, a call to work hard to nurture them so that the Grace touches and transforms our personal lives, so that we could touch and transform the lives of others.
