On March 8, 2010 a lunch was held for all the teachers and staff members of Beirut Orthodox Schools in coordination with the Parents’ Committees at Borj Al Hamam. Two awards were given to Mrs. Haifa Massaad and Mr. Elie Daoun in appreciation of their 25-years of service. Symbolic gestures were also given to all the attendees.
The Teacher’s Day represents a significant token of awareness, understanding and appreciation displayed for the vital contribution that teachers make to education and development.
On that day, the charming smiles and excited heartbeats of the children revealed their supportive and encouraging and appreciation of their teachers’ efforts and assured that the needs of future generation will continue to be met by teachers.
