What is there better than culminating the scholastic year with an outing that gathers the learners and their teachers to celebrate their achievements after several months of hard work?
Therefore, and in order to introduce the learners to new games and activities, we endeavor constantly, within the frame of the holistic education, to explore places that are well equipped for their entertainment, and where they could enrich their knowledge. This time, the Leisure Club was the destination for the Intermediate and Secondary learners for a day full of fun.
All of the learners looked so enthusiastic and lighthearted, as they gathered to set out to the club. Vivacity illuminated their faces, as they looked forward to the day ahead of them.
The Club provided a variety of activities: Swimming pools, Water slides, Jacuzzis, Acro branching, Basketball & Football courts. Joyfully, most of the learners engaged immediately in swimming, whereas some could be seen sunbathing and while others opted for the contemplation of the marvelous green scenery surrounding the place. Besides, a sense of harmony prevailed among the learners and their teachers, while playing basketball and football together, as well as indulging in conversations to catch up for whatever they have missed throughout the scholastic year due to their heavy schedules. Lunchtime was rather an opportunity to reinforce the bonds among the learners and the teachers, as they savored their food.
The beat of life rhythm was manifested in the learners’ behavior and reactions, and the balance among mind, spirit and body was clearly reflected on their interaction with each other.
